February 2017

Winter is here. Snow keeps filling the bare trees, and making everything pretty. It reminds me that Gibran was right: “Kindness is like snow—it beautifies everything it covers.” All of us here at CharityVision are grateful for the kindness we feel from you. Your donation is making a beautiful difference.

Many of our donors aren’t aware that in addition to international assistance, we help local children who deal with sight challenges—children like Oscar and Christian. Both of these boys attend Spring Creek Elementary located just 5 miles from the CharityVision office. Neither of these grade-schoolers could see clearly. Each day their educational plight began with a blurry board. Of course, learning in hazy surroundings is difficult—sight-challenged students tend to lag behind. Sadly, they feel stupid. CharityVision is happy to provide a simple solution. Thanks to great partners and generous donors, we can supply two pairs of glasses to each needy student for a song.

Both Oscar and Christian agree that since receiving their specs life got a whole light brighter. They are now making strides in the classroom. And they’re feeling a whole lot more confident. Such a small giving for a grand return, isn’t it? We are covering ground that you are, in fact, beautifying. Thank you for changing the course of a child’s life. We’re all giving you a big thumbs-up!
