Bolivia

Approximately 30,000 people are living with cataract blindness in Bolivia, but only 1,500 surgical operations are being performed each year. Additionally, about 40% of adults and 15% of children in Bolivia need glasses and cannot afford them.

CharityVision partners with local doctors and hospitals to provide affordable and accessible eye care. We donate cataract kits, equipment, and supplies, and provide glasses to children through school screenings. Our upcoming clinic in Cochabamba will serve underprivileged populations.

Cochabamba Clinic

Since Cochabamba has no way of helping their social patients with ophthalmic care, we are supporting their government clinic with surgery equipment, supplies, and glasses to care for the underserved population in and surrounding communities.
Quiero Ver Program

We help thousands of children in Bolivia every year through our "QuieroVer" school screening program, which offers a free exam and a pair of glasses to patients in need.
Vision Center

We partner with local vision centers to support doctors with equipment and frames so they can better assist the underserved population in their community.
Outreach Team

We support an outreach team of amazing women who visit rural communities throughout Bolivia to test the children's (and some adults’s) vision using our equipment donations and glasses. With their hard work and love, we have reached the unreached!

Uncia Outreach with Dr. Moya

Dr. Moya had a successful outreach in the Uncia District. He said: "I feel like I am young again and just starting to practice medicine. I love doing charity work!". We could not reach our goals in Bolivia without doctors like him.
Eye screenings for the public

Ending this month strong with a five-day visual outreach in Cochabamba. Our nurses are helping 130 patients each day!
